Realize The Greenview Difference

This kitchen remodel was about reworking what didn’t flow and giving space to the elements that do. The original layout boxed everything in — dated cabinets, tiled countertops, and a bulky island that took up more room than it gave back. We stripped it down and rebuilt it with cleaner lines, a larger workspace, and details that stay out of their own way.

Project Overview:

We took this kitchen back to its bones and gave it a fresh, modern layout. The old oak cabinetry and tiled surfaces were removed, along with the oddly shaped island that made the space feel crowded. We reworked the footprint to allow for a longer central island with seating and storage, added flat-panel cabinets, and introduced soft gray wood-look tile for contrast. The end result: a kitchen that feels open without being empty — clean, not sterile.

Project Objectives:

  1. Full Interior Demolition
Removed tile counters, upper and lower cabinetry, and original lighting fixtures to start clean.
  2. Layout Reconfiguration
Redesigned the island and cabinet layout to create more prep space and better flow around work zones.
  3. Plumbing and Electrical Updates
Replaced outdated plumbing and added new outlets, under-cabinet lighting, and recessed ceiling fixtures.
  4. Surface Installation
Installed wide plank porcelain tile flooring, new quartz countertops, and marble backsplash with a soft natural pattern.
  5. Custom Cabinetry and Storage
Added flat-panel cabinetry with sleek hardware and open shelving for a modern, unfussy storage approach.
  6. Lighting and Finishing Details
Dropped in pendant lights over the island, layered in ambient ceiling lighting, and tied it all together with a stainless range hood and neutral wall color.
